Cut, Cap, and Balance is an Act introduced to the U.S. Congress in July 2011 that aims to solve the controversy among the government’s lawmakers regarding the raising of the nation’s debt-ceiling.

The measure calls for three actions which were created by Rep. Jason Chaffetz, a U.S. Republican Representative from Utah.
